My final project is shit (top part) i'm wasting money, i'm bothering people, Thomas is sinking slowly into a social burn-out clan, our friend Zack is getting depressed.

If you look closely, you can a person's profile, with his hand at his collar, demon wings, and a heart on his neck [Thom]. Also, the flower, which represents home.

A figure with a trenchcoat: my roommate who i was afraid didn't like me. Behind her is the painting i did of her, which looks nothing like her.

Finally, to top this off, i discover that i have lice. We see me skratching my head and discovering lice underneath my fingernails. Well, this is the final straw.


The style of this book, which is new for me, is based off a concept Chibi and i were experimenting with over the summer. I drew with a sharpie straight onto the paper (it bleeds through the back, overlapping the text on the other side). I wanted to get my truest feelings out (i had a lot), so i wasn't worrying about it being good or easy to understand, but just raw expression. Maybe it was all the Pollocks i was seeing everywhere. And the graffiti all over the place, too. Chibi did a book of her life, and it was full of portraits that she did from memory, rather than observation. i quite like the outcome of both our projects.
